Founder Clay Hennessy began his career working alongside his father in the family construction business, spending more than a decade developing his skills as both a carpenter and operations manager. That foundation gave him a deep respect for quality workmanship, honest communication, and the importance of building lasting relationships with clients.

Driven to expand his expertise, Clay returned to school to study Construction Project Management and went on to spend the last nine years managing large-scale commercial construction projects ranging from tenant fit-outs to ground-up towers. Throughout his commercial career, he continued taking on carpentry and remodeling projects on the side - staying connected to the hands-on craftsmanship that first sparked his passion for construction.

Today, Hennessy Homes was built from that passion: combining high-level project management experience with the personalized service and attention to detail homeowners and small businesses deserve.
